Junior Accountant

The Opportunity

Seeking a Junior Accountant for our client in the Financial Services space. This permanent, office-based role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to learn and contribute to the day-to-day finance operations of a complex, multi-asset portfolio.

This is an excellent chance to gain broad exposure to sophisticated accounting within a high performing environment. Reporting directly to a senior finance leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting compliance. This is a hands-on role with a clear pathway for rapid learning and increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage core financial processing, including payables, receivables, and expenses.

• Support month-end and year-end close procedures.

• Assist with financial reporting, including management reports and cash flow analysis.

• Maintain meticulous financial documentation and audit trails.

• Provide support for payroll inputs and various compliance-related tasks.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of accounting experience in either a public practice or commercial setting.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with cloud-based ERP systems.

• A meticulous eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

• Candidates must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, willing to undergo background checks and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
